DIAMANTE DUNES Established in 2009 is located in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula. American developer Ken Jowdy is the visionary behind the Diamante master plan and chose the spectacular dune landscape for the course. He asked David Love III and his design team (which included his brother Mark Love and designer Paul Cowley) to transform the hilly desert terrain where in total, 84 acres of paspalum-grassed fairways weave around a series of enormous sand hills with the back nine measuring 4,010 yards, some 700 yards longer than the front nine. The course, with its many twists and turns through the dunes, is Davis Love III first course design outside of the USA. continued..
