KAWANA GOLF CLUB, established in 1936, is located in Ito-Shi, Shizuoka, Japan. The Fuji course at Kawana was designed by English golf course architect Charles Hugh Alison. Alison worked predominantly with Harry Colt, John Morrison, and Alister Mac Kenzie. There are two courses on the Izu Peninsula at the Kawana Resort and the stunningly beautiful Fuji course, is universally considered to be the best.
