Description
KINGSTON HEATH GOLF CLUB, established in 1909, is located in Cheltenham, Victoria, Australia. Originally formed as the Elsternwick Golf Club and based at present day Elsternwick Park, it was later relocated to its present location in Heatherton in 1925 and renamed as Kingston Heath. The course was designed by Dan Soutar in 1925 and is located in the famous sand belt region of Melbourne. Dr Alister Mac Kenzie was also brought in to offer bunker advice and guidance during his visit to Australia in 1926. The bunkers are the real key to Kingston Heath, which is also graced with some of the most amazing greens and greenside bunkering in the world. continued..
