SOMERSET HILLS COUNTRY CLUB, established in 1899, is located in Bernardsville, New Jersey, USA. The Club was originally situated along the Raritan River on Ravine Lake, partly in Far Hills and partly in Bernardsville. The club was formed for social and recreational purposes where the founders were primarily New York City residents. The golf course was a small 9 hole design, where there were only 65 members in 1902. Nineteen years after its formation in 1918, the Club relocated to its current site. The new golf course is a marvellous A.W. Tillinghast design and one of the few that has remained virtually unchanged since it opened in 1918. continued..
