BANDON DUNES GOLF RESORT (BANDON DUNES), established in 1999, is located just north of the city of Bandon, Oregon, USA. The resort is a complex of five links and a par-3 golf course on the West Coast of the United States. Golf course developer Mike Keiser, named by several golf publications as one of the most powerful and influential people in the game of golf, discovered an ideal property in the sand dunes near Bandon and set about building some of the greatest golf courses in the world. The first course in his resort, Bandon Dunes, opened in 1999 and feels like a Scottish Links course. It was designed by then unknown Scottish architect David McLay Kidd. continued..
