Description
CAPE WICKHAM GOLF COURSE, established in 2015, is located on the northern tip of King Island which sits in the Bass Strait halfway between Tasmania and the mainland state of Victoria, Australia. Originally used for cattle grazing, the site was discovered by Andrew Purchase during a trip to the island in 2011. Victorian course owner Duncan Andrews also invested in the project with the Tasmanian Government making some public land available for lease. The course is the product of the imagination of Darius Oliver and Mike DeVries who were commissioned to design the course, nine holes of which straddle the coastline. continued..
