ELLERSTON GOLF CLUB, established in 2001, is located in Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia and was designed by Bob Harrison and built by the firm of Greg Norman Golf Course Design. Ellerston is an extremely private 18-hole golf course on the estate of the late Australian businessman and media magnate, Kerry Packer. The brief given by Packer was to ‘Create the best golf course possible with as few tees as possible’ in other words, build a golf course that penalizes poor shots that will make the golfer think and play hard.
