ROCK CREEK CATTLE COMPANY Established in 2008 is located in Deer Lodge, Montana, USA. Montana wasn’t settled so much as it was conquered and it was in this era of yet unclaimed grandeur that cattlemen declared their valleys by gesturing toward distant mountain peaks to indicate the desired boundaries of their ranches. It seems appropriate therefore that the Rock Creek Cattle Company should be constructed on part of the historic ‘Grant-Kohrs Ranch’ that once extended to around ten million acres. The name Rock Creek Cattle Company came from a Kansas City business tycoon who bought the Ranch in 1971 and in 2004, businessman, vintner and avid golfer Bill Foley purchased the Ranch and along with fifty partners began making his vision of Rock Creek Cattle Company a reality. continued..
