Description
TARA ITI GOLF CLUB, established in 2015, is located 100km north of Auckland on North Island, New Zealand. Local developer John Darby, who had previously designed one of the New Zealand’s best layouts ‘Jacks Point’, in partnership with Los Angeles-based financier Ric Kayne, created the Tara Iti. Kayne, a long admirer of New Zealand, purchased 570 acres for the new club located on Te Arai Beach, which as recently as 2011 had been a commercial pine plantation. Kayne commissioned Tom Doak to design the course where the results are truly spectacular. continued..
