YAS LINKS, established in 2010, is located on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Yas Island is the location of a multi-billion dollar project by Aldar, Abu Dhabi’s foremost property, investment and management company. Yas Links began life as a flat piece of desert land that looked a million miles away from an undulating links golf course. One of the world’s leading golf course designers, and the architect behind Kingsbarns in Scotland, Kyle Philips was tasked with the course design. It was the first project that Phillips worked on in the Middle East and he was involved right from the outset, where It was decided to shape nearly two miles of coastline during the construction phase of the project. continued..
